Communities that Care Moving Forward in Gallatin County

On January 8th, in Bozeman, Gallatin County held it's Community Board Orientation for Communities that Care. In attendance were 15 participants from various community sectors such as the health department, Bozeman and Belgrade Schools, licensed addiction counselors, Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital, HRDC, and the Bozeman Public Library. 

The Community Board worked on drafting a vision statement and will proceed with Session 2 of the Community Board Orientation workshop in February where additional community partners will be attending. After the next workshop, Gallatin County will officially be forming the CTC Community Board structure and planning the workgroups.

Prevention Specialist Edward Sypinski is pleased with all the progress with CTC in Gallatin County. "The response from the community has been more than I expected and the process does seem to be working," Edward says.
